The Department of Data Science is pleased to announce the latest instalment in the Distinguished Seminar Series, featuring Prof. John (Jack) Spengler, Akira Yamaguchi Professor of Environmental Health and Human Habitation at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The seminar, titled "A Curious Career with Contaminants", will take place on 8 December 2025.
Prof. Spengler will share highlights from his multi-decade research career at Harvard, which spans a wide range of environmental health topics. From studying the health effects of PM2.5 to exploring the health benefits of Nature during the COVID-19 pandemic, and investigating indoor environments, Prof. Spengler’s work has shed light on the complex impacts of contaminants on human health.
